- Edwin Chester has been practicing law since 1977. For the last 35 years, Ned’s practice has focused almost exclusively on juvenile clients, representing adolescents in all Maine courts and in school disciplinary hearings.
- Barbara Vestal has been practicing law in Maine since 1977. Barbara’s practice focuses on real estate, including assisting clients with the purchase and sale of real estate, development projects, and condominium conversion and management; probate and decedent's estates, including wills, guardianships, adoptions, powers of attorney, advance health care directives; and guardian ad litem work.
- Kristina Dougherty has been admitted to practice law in Maine since 2016. She grew up in New Jersey, then came to Maine for law school and never wanted to leave. Kris' law practice is focused on juvenile defense, appeals, parents’ defense, and education law. She practices primarily in Androscoggin, Cumberland, and York counties. Kris joined Chester & Vestal, P.A. in 2018.
- Amber Miller is a non-attorney education advocate. She is able to facilitate IEP team meetings with the school, participate in mediations, advocate for students in expulsion hearings, and help negotiate with schools on behalf of clients, but is not admitted to practice law in Maine. She has extensive experience with education issues and protection of students with disabilities.
